Our 366 group posted some fantastic images in February. Mine were a mish-mash of people, the dog, landscapes, minimalism and documentary, done in black & white, color, you name it. In short, in this last month I have felt all over the place.
My hits + a few more:
In February Gia learned how to ride a bike.
It’s been unusually warm, so we’ve been outside a lot and I’ve been finding some sweet light.
From the backyard:
But my favorite images from this month came from a beautiful trip to Big Bend with my friend Margaret. Priceless, refreshing and so very fun! We pretty much had smiles on our faces the whole time…except for the time the pizza-we’d-been-looking-forward-to-all-day place told us they were closed despite a full restaurant of happy people and a delicious smell coming from the kitchen. We left there pretty sad.
Big Bend, you are desolate, beautiful, mysterious and I am so happy we finally met.
Thanksgivings: My awesome husband, road-tripping with a fellow photographer/friend/awesome woman, that God is so very good, an unexpected card in the mailbox, the homemade valentines of my 6-year-old, sock-it-to-me cake, the kindness and power of grace shown to me through so many people and the gift of extending it to others.
Profound quote I can’t stop thinking about: “The Lord God is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet,
And makes me walk on my high places.” Habakkuk 3:19
